Lake Country Rotary Club

Message From The President

Scott Peterson

Since it's inception in 1978 the Lake Country Rotary Club of Hartland has been meeting each Friday at noon at the Hartland Inn at the corner of Cottonwood Ave. and Capitol Drive in downtown Hartland. What started as a group with 25 members has grown to a club with over 80 members today, a testament to our founding members who saw a need and found others who were like minded.

Rotary International president Dong Kurn Lee has charged us all to “Make Dreams Real.” For 30 years, Lake Country Rotary has been making dreams a reality, both in our own community and in far-away places. We are a club that has fun as it gets things done. Here is a list of some of the ways that we have made a difference:

Helping to build a school in Haiti
Arrowhead High School Scholarship Fund
Kettle Moraine Scholarship Fund
Angel's Grace Hospice
Guatemala Relief Project
Lake Country Caring
Purple Loosestrife Eradication
Rotary International Polio Plus Program
Relay for Life
Lake Country Area Food Pantries
Hartland Village Center Construction
Guard & Reserve Family Support Fund
Waukesha County Technical College Endowment Fund
Veterans Memorial Riverwalk in Delafield
Hwy C Cleanup
Rogers Memorial Hospital "Angel Fund"
Performing Arts Center in Nixon Park
Special Olympics

Together, 1.2 million Rotarians will Make Dreams Real by putting Service Above Self.

If you are looking for a meaningful way to give back to your community and the world, we invite you to join us for lunch. Our programs are meaningful, our members are community and business leaders, but best of all we know how to have fun as well!
