The Future of Rotary Is In Your Hands!  The 2009-2010 Rotary International theme couldn’t be more appropriate as I am honored to take the reigns as the first 2nd generation president of our club!  My father has been a member for as long as I can remember and served the club well as president—as have all of our club leaders.  And now, the future is in the hands of myself and my outstanding team of Rotarians, including board members, new members, and the many members who can’t keep track anymore of club anniversaries!

With almost 90 members, our club is challenged this year to look to the future and grab the opportunities for “Service Above Self” by the horns.  John Kenny, International president, has called us all to action, knowing that “The Future of Rotary Is In Your Hands”. For over 30 years, the Lake Country Rotary has been taking action, both in our own community and in far-away places. We are a club that takes pride in having fun while accomplishing great things.  Alone we all can make a difference, but together we are unstoppable!  Here is a list of some of the projects and beneficiaries of our efforts:
